MCC Campus Expansion Project
I remember getting the call from Mott Community College's facilities manager on a humid July morning. They were breaking ground on a new student center in the College & Cultural Center district, and their original sanitation supplier had just fallen through. With 50 construction workers arriving the next day and no working toilets on-site, the crew faced a serious health and safety shutdown before they even poured the foundation. The project's tight timeline and our city's history with infrastructure failures made this feel incredibly urgent.
We mobilized our entire crew that afternoon. By sunset, we had eight of our deluxe construction units with hand sanitizer stations placed and secured around the perimeter of the excavation site. We set up a dedicated weekly service schedule that synced with the contractor's concrete pours, ensuring the units were always clean and functional, even during the hottest weeks. The project manager told us we kept his crew on schedule and compliant with all OSHA regulations from start to finish.
Genesee Portables showed up when others wouldn't and never missed a service.
